01.

Alexa runs her independent practice online in Cape Town. She works individually with adolescents and adults. As a member and ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, Alexa creates a safe and supportive space for all who are seeking therapy.

Alexa uses an empathetic, supportive, person-centred approach to therapy.
She assists clients in dealing with a range of mental health issues, from acute mental disorders to relationship issues or issues of self-esteem.

02.

Having spent years educating people around mental health, Alexa has refined her ability to explain complex aspects of mental health in simple ways that increase peoples understanding of mental health, whilst decreasing the stigma surrounding it.

"Access to mental health education and care is a basic human right that should be accessible to all South Africans, yet it's inaccessible to most."

She’s therefore passionate about finding innovative ways to spread this information and empower people to manage their mental health and well-being.

Opening up authentic discussions on mental health is essential. Whether on TV, radio, print media or online, Alexa has something to share about mental health - what it is, how issues impact mental health and how to care for and promote mental health and well-being.

If you're wanting to experience some of the mental health coping strategies, Alexa can create experiential workshops where participants can engage in these practices - such as a mindfulness workshop.
